Tram Errors

Postby andyb » Thu Jun 05, 2008 6:23 am

As we've mentioned before, there's no need to start a new thread for each small error that you come across.

So, let's use this particular thread to provide corrections, updates and changes relating to TRAMS.

In other news, we are presently working on a new system which will make it easier for non-members to report errors and provide updates.

I guesss this is the best place to put it. B2 2017 suffered from some sort of fire on riversdale Road about 1700 this afternoon. (6 June)

B2 2009 has been fitted with a new style floor in the saloon- a mixture of gel and crushed quartz. Apparently it is supposed to be better for anti slip protection.

Indeed, this was in the last employee newsletter - supposedly it's expensive to fit, but will work out more cost effective in the long run.

Likewise for a number of lamps being upgraded to LED style.

The image of the floor being fitted into the tram was certainly interesting- would have been a sort of difficult job.

This tram has been refurbished to a Yarra Trams Standard. However it retains the Yellow grab handle strap. So the grab handle itself is Green

W2.475 is currently listed as being on a plant farm on the Research-Warrandyte road; It was in fact moved from that location quite some time ago and now resides in the grounds of 'Wellers Of Kangaroo Ground,' a restaurant.
